The Creative Industries sector now generates 5.5% of the UK economy and are now the fastest growing part of it. They have also been described as those industries which have their origin in individual creativity, skill and talent. There are 2,040,000 jobs in the creative industries. Creative jobs have increased by 30.6% since 2011. The creative economy accounts for 1 in 10 jobs across the UK and employ 700,000 more people than the financial services.
